AT Cooling Towers
The AT Cooling Tower is corrosion protected by the EVAPCOAT Corrosion Protection System.
The Z-725 Mill Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Construction is the heaviest level of galvanizing available for manufacturing cooling towers and has more zinc protection than competitive designs using Z-275 and Z-600 steel.
Mill hot-dip galvanized steel has been successfully used for over 25 years for the protection of cooling towers against corrosion.
There are various grades of mill galvanized steel each with differing amounts of zinc protection. EVAPCO has been a leader in the industry in developing heavier galvanizing, and was the first to standardize on Z-725 mill hot-dip galvanized steel. Z-725 designation means there is a minimum of 725 g/m2 of surface area as measured in a triple spot test.
During fabrication, all panel edges are coated with a 95% pure zinc-rich compound for extended corrosion resistance.
Closed Circuit Cooler
The LSWE is a forced draft, centrifugal fan design closed circuit cooler with a capacity range of 225 to 7,650 MBH (73 to 4103 kW). Standard construction features the patented, high efficiency Thermal-Pak® Coil with a G-235 (Z725 Europe) galvanized steel casing and basin. Type 304 stainless steel is available for the basin and the casing.
The LSWE product line is a result of EVAPCO’s extensive experience in forced draft centrifugal fan designs. Models are designed for easy maintenance and long, trouble free operation. These units are also designed with IBC Compliant construction and CTI Certified Thermal Performance. All features shown are available on all models.
Designed for easy maintenance, the LSWE Closed Circuit Cooler leads the industry in service friendly features. The three most critical areas for cooling tower maintenance are the basin, drive system and coil . The cold water basin is easily accessed from outside the tower via large circular access doors. All drive system components are located in the dry, entering air stream for long life and can be serviced from outside the tower. The exclusive Thermal-Pak® coil is designed for trouble free maintenance and long life straight from the factory.
